There will be bus service changes on Monday 13th August. These changes are mainly due to the award of Fife Councils North Fife Tender, where Moffat & Williamson won some of the routes currently operated by Stagecoach.
Stagecoach are also taking the opportunity to amend timetables throughout Fife, due to passenger feedback received from previous consultations. Bay Travel are also amending service 13 and service 18. A summary of the changes for each of the operators can be found by clicking here.
Timetables should be available at the beginning of August. The timetables will also be available online via the Stagecoach, Moffat & Williamson and Bay Travel website.
Transport Scotland and Scotland’s public transport stakeholders are looking to learn more about passenger preferences for smart travel – specifically your preferences when it comes to smart ticketing, smartcards, contactless payment or mobile apps.
They are seeking views of both concession and non-concession travellers – whether you currently use paper or a smart ticket or payment option.
Clicking here will take you to the short survey.
Glenrothes turned 70 on Saturday 30th June, and had a party to celebrate at Warout Stadium.
Our Bikeability Co-ordinator Shealagh went along with lots of information on Cycle Fife, Bikeability and all things active travel and to add a little flavour to our stand Shealagh also had visitors pedalling their own smoothies. Our information stand could be identified with our lovely big Cycle Fife banners.
Thanks to everyone who came to speak to us about cycling, active travel and Bikeability and to the Scouts for helping with our stand!
