From Sunday 31 March, Stagecoach will made an amendment to their fares and ticket zones in Fife.
Single, return, dayrider and megarider fares will be revised (all student/U19 tickets, the nightrider ticket (£3) and the Edinburgh 12 journey ticket (£35) will remain at current prices).
- The North East Fife ticket zone will be expanded to cover Glenrothes, Leven and services into Dundee City Centre
- The Fife+ zone will be expanded to cover services into Perth

AECOM have been commissioned by SEStran (South East of Scotland Transport Partnership) – a regional transport partnership of eight local authorities; City of Edinburgh, Clackmannanshire, East Lothian, Falkirk, Fife, Midlothian, Scottish Borders and West Lothian; to carry out an active travel study in Fife. SEStran is considering improvements in accessibility for cyclists and pedestrians along the A955 between the communities of Kirkcaldy, Dysart, Coaltown of Wemyss, East Wemyss and Buckhaven. This project is being undertaken also on behalf of Sustrans and in consultation with the Council’s transportation officers.
If you wish to pop in to discuss the project or give feedback to the study team then the following sessions have been organised:
• A public consultation event will take place on Friday 8th March at Buckhaven Community Centre (Kinnear Street, Buckhaven, KY8 1BH) from 1pm – 7pm.
• A public consultation event will take place on Tuesday 12th March at Windmill Library (Windmill Road, Kirkcaldy, KY1 3AL) from 2pm – 7pm.
