Residents of South Fife are being asked to have their say on the future of supported bus services in their area

Residents of South Fife are being asked to have their say on the future of supported bus services in their area. Fife Council Road and Transportation Services are looking for feedback on what services are most important to the residents of South Fife. A consultation will take place from 30th January until 3rd March.

All comments received will be considered when contracts for subsidised bus routes are renewed in August 2023.

The bus services that are currently supported or partly supported in South Fife are:

1/1A, 2/2A, 3/3A, 4B, 4C, 5, 6, F6, 7D, 8A, 17A/17B, 18B, 20A, 28, 31, 33/33A, 84, 87, 88/88A, 89/89A

Further information on these services (routes/times) can be found at www.travelfife.com

The Council is interested in finding out the places/ facilities residents go to by bus and what times they need or prefer to travel.

On-bus surveys will be carried out with passengers on these routes between January and March. Passenger movements are also being analysed using ticket machine data.  We will also have two drop-in sessions for bus users at Dunfermline Bus Station on Tuesday 14 February between 0930 - 1630 & Thursday 23 February between 1630 - 2130.

You can complete the survey online via this link https://www.fife.gov.uk/bussurvey
