Please see the information below relating to Stagecoach’s fare revision from Sunday 7 March.
Exciting news! We’re simplifying our fares and tickets to make them more consistent and easier to understand. From Sunday 7th March, our new ticket options will be available with many single fares reduced in price and new multi- journey zones and tickets offering more flexible travel options. The changes are also designed to help reduce cash handling, by reducing the need for change, creating more tickets available on the app and keeping prices below the contactless limit on our ticket machines.
Fares and tickets are also changing in Aberdeenshire and the West of Scotland.
Single tickets will range from £1 to £10 with a 50% discount for children (under 16) and a 25% discount for students. Young Scot card holders can also benefit from 1/3 off single adult fares.
Check the fare for your journey online (you’ll need to plan a journey after 7th March to see the new fares), on average, our single tickets will either reduce in price or stay the same!
We’re removing standard returns from our fares as the best value option is usually one of our DayRider tickets if you’re making 2 or more journeys on the same day.
However, some of our promotional discounted day return tickets are still available:
