Stagecoach East Scotland is the main bus operator in Fife whose routes serve most towns and villages as well as the express network to Glasgow, Edinburgh and Dundee.
Moffat & Williamson operate some local services in Glenrothes, Markinch, St Andrews, Tayport and Gauldry.
Bay Travel operates, a service between Ballingry and Lochgelly, as well as services in Kelty, Cowdenbeath, Dunfermline, North Queensferry and more recently Auchtertool.
Fife Council currently subsidises local bus journeys across Fife.
Go-Flexi is the name of some ‘phone & go’ taxibus services serving rural North and East Fife.
Megabus operates long distance services throughout Britain, serving Ferrytoll Park & Ride in Fife.
Park’s of Hamilton operates long distance services throughout Scotland, serving Dunfermline Bus Station, Carnegie College and Ferrytoll P&R in Fife.
A1 Coaches operates services between Methil/East Neuk and Elmwood College in Cupar.
First operates services between Falkirk and Alloa via Kincardine and also between Dunfermline and Livingston.
Hamish Gordon operates school buses for Fife Council. Hamish Gordon also operates services for Perth and Kinross Council (please note these are private contracts and the public are unable to use these services).
CityLink, Scottish Citylink operates long distance services throughout Scotland, serving Dunfermline Bus Station, Carnegie College and Ferrytoll P&R in Fife.
